updates

Wow, I'm loosing my touch in the blogging world. Bryan is in Gibson's as we speak (not literally), spending some quality time with his brother Bill, and being escorted by a friend Chris. 2 hours after his plan landed he texted me with "I'm drunk", so that should tell you how it's going so far. Bryan's already been to the Breeders show and was raving about it all day today. While Bryan has been gone I have been in town allot. I took Sienna down town and decided to go shopping for plants and got a Hydrangea, a Lilac and a pine tree. How did I get them home you ask, he he I loaded them up in the stroller and took them on the bus while holding Sienna. It was interesting to say the least. Today I went garage saling with the girls and we only made it to one, but that was all we needed because we walked away with a big shelving unit for $5, and Bench that opens up to be storage inside for the girls winter gear for $15. I of course walked away the a bunch more stuff like pots, candles, and these 2 beautiful solid wood boxes. Sanora was happy, she got a ton of things from the free boxes. So this week I will be digging up our front yard and planting. Bryan is a little scared about this plan, requesting that I sent photos showing what I want to do...shape act. Ya right, I told Bryan he has to wait in fear and see when he gets home, Bwaa ha ha ha.

On another note I got to see an old friend the other week, a guy I went to college with. Ali was in town doing some art for a guy Bryan knows, so I called him up and harassed him out for a coffee. This is a guy that will always be in my heart, he's a pretty cool guy.

Ohhhhh one more note, he he. I have officially not been smoking for 2 weeks, and Bryan 5 weeks...woooo hoooo!

Mother's Day

I got to sleep in...HOORAY I got to sleep in. Sanora was under strict instructions to let me sleep till 9:30. Then Tara and Donovan came over for Brunch which Bryan made smoked salmon egg's Benny with asparagus, and there was all kinds of fruit as well as Pastry's. I work that night, but in all I had an amazing Mothers Day, thanks to my amazing husband. I am one lucky woman I tell ya!

Sanora's Dance shows

Dance class for Sanora is sadly over. Sanora has had rehersals for the past 2 months, it's been crazy. This past week Sanora had to be at the art centre every night this past week for rehearsals and performances. There was 3 performances, I missed the one on Thursday but for the other ones and dress rehearsals I was helping out in the back. I guess the first show was pretty funny to watch. One of the girls got a little ahead of herself and pushed Sanora off the stage and then the crew off stage pushed them back on. After they where done Sanora being at the very front ended up just standing there waving her arms. So cute, That was the night I was at work so I didn't actually see it. When I came on Friday, they hit everything right on cue, I almost cried it was so heart breakingly cute. On Saturday it was a premier so I was able to be there for that and we weren't suppose to, but I figured I am buying the DVD anyway and video taped the performance from back stage. It's really hard to see but the look on Sanora's face when she ran off stage was priceless, I love it.

Sanora's dance shows

Well things have been busy here. Sanora's dance school had their first show tonight. Yesterday and the next 2 shows I am working back stage with the little ones, they are sooooo cute. I can't believe the chaos that goes on behind the curtain, I never would have thought. There are 2 of the young ones (4 years old) that like to disapear, so keeping track of 9 kids is a little harder than I thought. Sanora is doesn't seem to have any stage fright so far. Well Tomorrow is a big day with another dance performance, my birthday and Bryan getting the big snip snip. We're going to be hosting a party to celebrate.
