Sick Booties
Bryan had to take another night off last night from the flu. It's been going around in waves and for some reason seem to be hitting the men twice. As always I will have the same thing but it seems to hit Bryan 5 times harder. Maybe it's a built in mechanism because moms don't have much of a choice when we're sick.....you have to get up and do it all anyway.
We went to Super Store to pick some things up for Bryan and we ran into a first nations man that frequents the stores parking lot with Haida items. He sells them in stores and in the parking lot as well and they are high quality items too. Usually though it is dream catchers and we have about 6 of those already of different sizes so we where never interested. Yesterday though he had beautiful leather baby booties with a really nice fuzzy lining, so we got those. I've seen them in the store for $40 and we got them for $20, and they will last her a long time especially seeing as the leather will stretch.

Silly sister photos
I asked Bryan to take photos of the 2 of us before we left on our night out to Lizards. Bryan made amazing hamburgers, I can always go off for a long time on what a good cook he is.
Although we are twins we are very much completely different people. You can kinda see this even in how we dress. While she was here though, I found it almost creepy how much we are still so alike.
This was one that started our fit of giggles, it only got worse from this one on.
We held it for the photo but the second it was taken we both where crying we where laughing so hard and Bryan kept on taking photos.
This one is of us trying to recover from the giggles with very little luck

Sienna photos
Sienna had A strong neck from birth but at 2 weeks she is able to pul her head back and hold it there. She has amazing eye contact and it feels like she's looking right into you. She has an intensity that is so beautiful, it makes me curious to see what she will be like when she gets older. I am far from in a rush to have her grow up though, I wish she could stay small forever.

Sanora's dance photos
Sanora did many dances for us through out the visit. Gerri got this outfit for Sanora while she was in Afghanistan, and as you can see it looks so beautiful on her.

Gerri and Neice Photos
On one of the walks that Sanora led us on.
First Gerri jumped in the puddle and spashed Sanora. After a crying spell Sanora started jumping in it too, and next thing you know I cant get Sanora out of the mud. When Sanora dumped out her boots it looked like there was more water in her shoes than in the puddle itself. It was alot of fun.
Sanora was loving the photo shots of her and Sienna, she's a very proud sister!
Photo is a little blurry but ohhh so cute

Baby Shower
One of the girls I worked with at Reitmans Chelsea Best was so sweet and threw me a baby shower. It was pritty much the girls I worked with and Gerri-Anne and ironically enough only one was still at Reitmans. It was really nice and great to see everyone again, especially outside of the work inviroment. Sienna got spoiled with gifts, and some thought of Sanora and had stuff for her too. Everyone here in Whitehorse has been very kind to us, feels more of an intimate comunity.
Gerri anne also left today at 7:30 am. I woke up to her gone as Bryan drove her to the airport. I kept talking to air this morning thinking she was still here. I miss her alot already, she was sucha big help. Gerri really focused her attention on Sanora which was exactly what Sanora needed. Sanora has loved the family visits as the rest of the family, the house feels a little empty right now.

Night out
Mine and Gerri's night started with the giggles. Bryan took photos of us on the Balcany where Gerri licked my face in mid photo. So Bryan kept taking photos as we where laughing so hard we where both crying. We ended up at the local bar called Lizards, which was interesting. A guy we both went to highschool with named Jordon Gerk lives in town. We kind of stumbled apon eachother one day a couple of months ago, never knowing that we moved here the same time as him. While in in Lizards we called Jordon for a drink. Before he came we had the most pitiful game of pool, while a few angry men hovered over us waiting for the game to finish. Well that was taking way longer than intended so we decided to scratch the game and do what we're a good at......drinking beer. When Jordon got there with his fience Crystal, Gerri-Annes dancing got worse as she started doing her signature move over and over again. It was all for the fun of harrassing Jordon, that and any other way we could harrass him. The 2 ended coming over for beer at our house and of course the old stories came out. It's funny what one remembers about an insadent and what each person remembers differently. They ended up leaving at about 4 in the morning, then it was straight to bed for us. Sienna and Sanora where angels for Bryan and everything went smoothly. It is nice that we can both go out and not have to worry about the other. It also lets me know that eventually we will beable to go out as a couple and probebly not have to worry about the girls.

Sienna @ 12 Days Old

This one is my favorite!

I tried to catch her smiling, it's just to bad that it's blurry.

Of course a sleeping picture, when you put her on a flat surface this is her poise!

Mommy moment
I have been taking the girls down town these past couple of days by bus. Today we went and hung out with Bryan at Starbucks while he did his work for the contract. Bryan then took off to take his work to the printers and I took Sanora to Walmart to pick up a few things. I had a real mommy moment when we where waiting for the bus though, I had to laugh. A little under 10 minutes before the bus was about to come, Sienna decided to go to the bathroom. I thought "bus is almost here, I probebly don't need to worry" Then I took a peak to see what the damage was! Well needless to say she was covered, and it was soaking through her cloths, lol. We booked it accross the street and just barely made it back in time to catch the bus. All part of being a parent I guess.
Gerri in Miami
Welljust seconds ago I was texting Gerri-Anne on my phone while she is on a tropical beach, just after her cruise. Apparently it was awsome which is no suprise. I just remember how we where when Gerri and I where on that cruise before, which we will aventually have to do again. This time we wont try and sing "don't worry be happy" infront of a ton of strangers, it will probebly be some other bad song. I am looking forward to her visit and it is sure coming up quick. Gerri-Anne is here the night of the 17th, I can't wait to see her.

Here are just a few pics. I fell asleep early last night so I didn't quite get a chance to get on Bryan's computer. I put some on this computer just to get some on the blog.

My beautiful girls
Well, I am constantly amazed these days. I kinda thought because Sanora was so good that I would get a screamer this time around. Knock on wood, I think Sienna is even more mellow of a baby than Sanora was. Really though they are probebly very simular, with myself just being more relaxed this time around. I don't have health nurses telling me I'm starving my child, but instead lots of love and support from everyone around us which makes a big difference. Sienna is up till 1am maybe 2am then sleeps till about 5am to feed then is down again till about 8:30ish. Last night she slept all the way through. She barely ever cry's and when she does it's either her main nisesities and if not her big sister singers to her or I rock her a bit and she's happy as can be. Maybe it's all the chocoalte I ate when I was pregnant, lol. I passed out early last night so I didn't get to pitures but I promise tonight.

update
The big events of the day are that my dad is leaving today, Gerri flew to Miami and Sienna left her newborn diapers behind and is on to size 1.
Sienna is great, such a good baby. I put her down at 1 and she's up at 5 for a feed and then down again till 8:30. That's what it's been for the last 3 days so I hope it keeps up. We had a doctors appointment yesterday and Sienna and I are doing well. My blood pressure is down and back to normal as well. I'm soooooooooooooooooo excited to see Gerri, I can't wait.

Today he took Sanora down town for a few hours and i got some time with just Sienna and Bryan which was nice. I took a nice long walk with my little piglet. It feels got to beable to get out and really exercise......or at least without feeling 500 lbs, lol. My dad is pritty good to me, i don't know what i would do without him.

Back into Blogger
Well I finally had a moment to sit down and set up the updated blogger. I sent out an e-mail instead for in the mean time though.
I had an amazing experience giving birth to Sienna and If I wasn't madly in love with Bryan I would have falling in love all over again. Bryan stayed with me over night ever night I was there except for one, for Sanora's sake. I was on Bed rest the first 2 days so he waited on me hand and foot. Bryan was also everything I needed when I was giving birth. Sienna is amazing little girl, and very expressive like her older sister. I can't get over the hair she has though, so long and dark. Pictures will be on soon the second i get a chance on Bryan's computer.
I have to give credit to my parents because I am finding it hard to get use to ballencing 2 children let alone 4 and twins of all things. I think the ballence will come easier in time but for now I'm feeling extra greatful of the parents I had.

Slow and steady wins the race!
Well we went in for a routine appointment and my blood pressure had spiked to 140 over 98 which is quite high especially compared to what it's been the rest of my pregnancy. I was admitted to the maternity ward and was put on bed rest (which really sucked) for 24 hours.
Sanora is at Tara and Donovan's house, friends of ours down the street, and is apparently very talkative and happy. Now Tara really knows what I mean when I say that Sanora asks ALOT of questions during a movie and likes to sing while she goes to the bathroom, lol.
I was induced 8:00 am Tuesday morning with a hormone that was put on my cervix to thin it out so my water would break. That had to sit on my cervix for 12 hours in which they monitored my blood pressure, the baby, contractions, and my reflexes for 10 minutes every half hour. So far there are lots of contractions that are big, but not really going anywhere. I am said to be 2 cm dilated since 8am this morning, and still no baby…. so what does that tell you? Tomorrow morning if there still is nothing they are going to give me an IV with something called called Oxytocin in it. It's pritty much the same hormone that your body gives off naturally when you have sex, just a little bit more than normal. Either way the baby is coming tomorrow.
Thank goodness for Sanora because they gave me a couple hours leave to see her. Unfortunately she was already asleep so I have been doing a lot of walking and came home to check my e-mail instead. There was a respiratory epidemic for a while where a few babies had to be flown out on one almost died. Because of this Sanora can’t come in the ward to come see the baby and myself pretty much till we bring the baby home. I miss my girl and I will be very excited to come home.
So as a close off I will be phoning when the baby decided to grace us with it's presence and bless us with its cries of life. So I am off to the hospital soon, so I bid you all ado!

still waiting/Aurora
Well the waiting is getting frustrating; I defiantly thought that the baby would be born before now. Well I keep hearing of 2 and 3 weeks late, and the thought of that scares me. On the upside the movements of the baby are so strong that I can feel exactly what body parts are poking out, and when I lay certain ways you can see the actual shape of the baby. I am so eager to meet this little human being that’s playing in my tummy, but seeing as this is going to be my last pregnancy it feels weird knowing that I wont feel it again. I guess I just have to enjoy it while it lasts.
Tonight though I saw the most amazing display of the Aurora Borealis. We see the green quite often but never bright purple and white. It looked more like I was watching a movie than looking straight up in the sky, only much better. I managed to get about 3 pitiful pictures that don't even come close to doing justice, I guess I would have to be set up and prepared for that. Ahhh well, what can you do, I was happy just to see it.
