Spring break / goals
So it's spring break, woo hoo. Well I had planned to do all these fun things with Sanora and the first to days went well. Monday we did all kinds of crafts and then went to the park for about 3 hours, pretty much until boo bear had enough. On Tuesday even more crafts and went sledding right behind our house. Just as I was pulling out the crazy carpet it sling shotted and bounced back hitting Sienna in the face. Poor kid had a black eye and a face full of scratches. Thankfully by the time Bryan saw it which was the next day the black eye was gone and the scratches where already healing up. By Wednesday of course we got hit with the flu again, both Sienna and I of course. So there went the swimming, play dates and more sledding that I had planned to do with her. Sanora is the most amazing little girl, she took care of Sienna and I while Bryan was at work. Sanora got things for Sienna, got a bucket for us, entertained Sienna if I had to make a run for it. Something else that Sanora did was fully take care of herself, made her own sandwiches and got everything herself, never even asked for help. I have to say that Sanora wowed me this week. Sienna and I seemed to be fine today so I hope that tomorrow I can take the girls to the pool, mind you the buses aren't working so we'll have to see. Bryan has been working on alot of things lately so on the weekends it's more work for him.
There is so much funding in the Yukon in the arts department, that's what we are going to push for in the next 5 years. Our goals right now is to get funding so Bryan can write his book, then set up Tenacious mouse and when that is completed then we would love to open an art store. Whitehorse is screaming for it, tones of people are coming into Terra Firma all the time looking for art supplies. It would of course also be a bit of a gallery and Tenacious mouse run out of it. My major goal is to just go back to school, there is so much I would love to educate myself on. Writing skills being an major one. I've gotten really into herbology lately, plants are so interesting here. I found out that you can infact plant apple trees here. I'm pritty excited about that.
