Sanora's b-day / work
It's been a while since my last entry, sorry about that. My computer is having problems loading pictures for some reason, they will be up as soon as I can get them up.
Unfortunantly both girls where sick leading up to the weekend aka Sanora's birthday. I felt bad for her and we tried to make it fun for her. We took her down to the Nakui fastival down town, it was a childrens festival with the first act being an outragously silly musicion, with the name Washboard Bob, Bryan and I like him. The second act was duplex, the band with Vida Hille and her husband, Bryan was in the high hevens when they played. For those of you we have made listen to "pooing and peeing at the same time!" that would be them! There was face painting, clowns, and tons of free goodies, so Sanora loosened up a bit, The band even sang happy birthday to Sanora to which was great, in fact the whole room did. It was so cute watching Bryan dance to silly songs with Sanora, Sienna LOVES to dance so she was laughing the whole time. We went for a late lunch after but poor Sanora couldn't eat anything. When we got home she pritty much was cometose on the couch all night, she couldn't even talk to grandpa on the phone. She didn't remember later when I told her anyway so she must have been pritty out of it. This sunday will be Sanora's party, we're having it at the house and Sanora has invited her whole class, golp! I have to work right after so Bryan gets to deal with the after math, he he!
As you know i work security at the college now. I really like the job, I have actually gotten calls for interview since but is quite content where i am. The security job challenges me (more like the students) and I like the hours. I did 2 grave yard shifts in a row and I was fine as long as I got a couple hours sleep before going on shift. Monday night was a bit of a nightmare, because with Sienna sick I didn't get her to bed till 10, then I chopped wood (Bryan's back is out) so I ended up with 15 minutes of sleep, it had the domino effect for the rest of the night. In the morning I ended up missing the bus by less than a minute so I waited for the next one in -45 for 45 minutes in very unappropriate clothing.....so when I pulled off my boots I lad a layer of ice around my socks and frost bite on each of my big toes. I'm laughing about it now, but I tell ya I sure wasn't at the time.
