Valentines Day! (Commercially Fabricated Day!)

Well happy Valentines day everyone. I'm trying to continue the traditions that my mom had with us and do little things for Sanora on Valentines day. I believe that it is just a silly commercially fabricated day that is nothing more than a money grab. Those thoughts in no way effect the memories of chocolates and candies left on my bed when I got home from school nor the cards/notes left on the counter for us. My mother always did that up until she passed, She even sent me cards saying happy valentines day or easter. This year for Sanora I decided to make heart shaped cookies with red food colouring in them and sprinkles spelling "I love you" on a big giant heart. Maybe her and I can do a little craft as well, make window hearts or something. I love that window paint stuff.

I also am talking on MSN with Gerri right now for the first time in about 3 months, which feels good. She e-mails when she can and contacts when she can which is awsome. I can't wait to see her especially because we get to torture Bryan with our bickering, heh heh heh!
