Fall fun...ahh and snow
a couple of days ago as I was waiting in the school yard for Sanora to get out of school, I was blessed with the subtle first flakes of winter. The snow is already half way down the mountain and by next week there just might be enough on the ground for a little snow ball fight. Am I excited about the snow, yes and no, I'm excited about the smells, snowball fights (if we can), snow men, sledding, snow shoeing and of course christmas (the baking, decorating and such). What I am not excited about is the long winter, I think it's also because spring and fall are my favorite seasons of all and the only thing about Whitehorse is that those seasons are so short.
We had a friend of Sanora's over for lunch and the mom brought fresh bread (mmm yummy) we then took a walk to stinky lake with all 4 kids where they played with black goo from the water. when we got home we racked up all the leaves before crazily throwing them at eachother running around the front like maniacs. We then racked the leaves up again, Sanora wanted to make daddy happy and suprise him with the leaves all neat in a pile. That didn't last long because I covered her in leaves and when she got up she starting chasing me again and covering Tofino with the leaves. Ahh fun times.
