Walk in Portercreek

Well despite the recent bear warnings I decided to go for a walk through the green belt (I called to check on bear activity first) with the main reason being to take pictures at the lake they call "stinky lake". It's called that because it's part of a hot spring, and has that sulphur smell. I took off and after about an hour I should have way past arrived at the lake but instead I found road. So I back tracked and went the other way only to hit road again. It was then that I discovered that I was lost....oooops. I had no idea where i was so I decided to follow a path by the road. After a while I heard traffic, so deciding that I had given up on the lake headed for the highway. I came out by the road going to the pump house (fishlake) and just walked along side the road. I left at 11:45 and got home at 2:30.....Soooo my 1 hour walk wasn't so 1 hour,lol. I later looked the area up on Google earth and was so surprised by how far I walked.

Oh and dad when you put in our address Google earth can't seem to find it. It gives the area but grove is split into about 3 different spots.
