Sanora's christmas speech

Well I am so impressed with Canada post. I am really happy that most got there gifts on Friday. Jan I hope you did too! My dad called to let us know and to wish us a merry christmas and it was sooooo cute. Sanora talked to him and was little miss chatter box. It's so cute to here her talk about Sienna to other people, she puffs up her chest and talks very proudly. Sanora who always goes "where's Pat?" got to talk to her for a while and Sanora was talking about the Yukon as well.

Later on in the night when we where making cookies and Bryan was getting the appitizers ready for the christmas eve party, we where talking about our mom's. Sanora looks at me in the eyes, puts her hand on my arm and says to me "Your mother is all around you, she's everywhere. When people die they become angels and they are always with you." I looked at Bryan in shock, and I started to cry. Here is this 4 year old who looked at me with such wisdom, it was crazy. We talk alot about our mothers and how they are angels, but for her to say something like that blew me away. Sanora is such a smart kid and a smart ass,lol! Bryan and I combined it's inevitable that we have a smart ass as a child. I'll never forget the time that we drove to Haines Junction when John and Barb where here, and we had luch. I kept saying to Sanora "don't eat with your mouth full!" and she kept asking John questions. Well after one question that we had answered Sanora belted out "Grandpa don't eat with your mouth full!" I couldn't stop laughing, it was soo funny. It looked like she had lined that up on purpose.
