Masquerade party

The wings are made out of clear tape, wire and cellophane. The abdomen is fabric attached to a make shift vest and painted. The thorax is foam that was cut out, stitched around the sides and painted about 3 times. It was then attached to cloth that drapes and holds the wings. masquerade

You can see the red abdomen being the blood sack and the legs which are attached to Bryan's arms with fishing wire.

Bryan took mini strainers, cut off the handles and attached them to large clown glasses with black tape. The mask is 2 safety masks painted with a hose running through one of them. Bryan then took red ribbon and stuffed it up the end of the hose. Again you can see the funny little legs.

Reanna was Cleopatra...you foxy woman you.

Tonight Bryan went to a mascara party down town with our friend Reanna. Yesterday he called me from working telling me that he wanted to be a mosquito so between me,Bryan, and some of the shoppies at work we came up with a costume. We stayed up till 4am in the morning last night sewing and putting together the mosquito costume. We got home from Sanora's dance class/roaming around town and worked on it till Reanna came at 6 pm.
