MY SISTER!

Well I found out the other day that my twin sister is going to afganistan at the end of September 2006 for an 11 month tour. It makes me think back to when me and Gerri use to watch tank girl.....and strangely Gerri kind of reminds me of the character in that movie. I'm proud of my sister because she figured what she wanted to do very young and she firmely stuck to it like gum in your hair, ahhh. When Gerri when into the military she not just did the womans requirements but she went past the mens requirements. I still brag about that, because that says alot about her. It should never be about what sex you are but weather you can do the job, and she more than proved it and is continueing to do so. Gerri-Anne left for training the morning before september 11th, and I remember watching my parents watch the world trade centre fall and I could tell they where thinking of Gerri. Anway I guess in a nut shell I am very proud of my sister, of who she is and what she stands for. I give her my full support and I know that Gerri will work her butt off over there. I love you F!

MY NIECE! I am also so proud of Geri. And I will think of her all the time and say prayers for her safe return. Also I will keep her in touch with home and family, thru cards, letters and goodies. Our country is lucky to have a soldier like my precious niece.
